Education
Besides 30+ years on this planet, I attended Long’s Peak Academy to receive my license in Cosmetology in 2003.  I had the great pleasure of forgetting everything I learned in school by one of my greatest mentors in hair, Al Urbanowski.  He taught me to really see clients, their hair, their facial features and bone structure.  I also learned some badass barbering.  I’ve taken a bazillion classes, from some of the greats, American Crew, Modern Organic Products, L’oreal, Schwarzkopf and Rusk.  I also attended an in depth masters program at DiPietro Todd with a great emphasis on Vidal Sassoon.  I evolve as an artist with every snip of my scissors and stroke of my razor.  Truly, everyday I am schooled.

What inspires you about doing hair?
Hairdressing fuels this innate creative fire within my heart.  My clients and I are gifted freedom of expression with every color and haircut we collaborate on.  It is an ever-evolving art form that pushes the limits of conformity and normalcy.  This medium, called hair breathes diversity.  I feel so blessed that clients believe in me as an artist and make it possible for me to be creative everyday.  Not to mention the human connection, the human touch and healing also gifted from this art.  Wowzers, I could go on and on.

Favorite era for hair?
Now/1950’s/1960’s.

What makes you so special?
I’m fluent in English.

Chloe’s approach to hair is always fresh and exciting. She does a fantastic job of listening to her client’s desires, while at the same time guiding them in the right direction…often a direction they didn’t know they needed. She is easy to talk to and is always there for her clientele. I highly recommend her to all my friends and family.

Kirsten, you are such a rockstar! You are always adventurous and open to try something new! Thanks for being the first to review me and I am so blessed to have you as a client! ((HUGS))

I have experienced many different stylists from growing up in Chicago, spending time in Boulder and now living in Manhattan, and I have to say that Chloe is by far the best. She’s a great listener, has an eye for style, and really understands what a client needs to make them look beautiful. Outside of her skill set she’s an overall friendly and caring person engaging in conversation about anything on your mind so your not just sitting in the chair asleep. Look no further, she is the stylist to see in Boulder! Hands down!

Chloe is the best when it comes to cutting my super short pixie cut. She gets my style, and she gives me a great haircut EVERY time. I actually live in LA, but I try to make it to Boulder whenever I need a haircut.
