I may be the boss lady, but I’m not bossy at all. I approach life with a curious spirit and a natural, quiet confidence. Laughter is key for myself and my core community, while my friendships and human connections are authentic and lasting. Family is the core of my universe.
Bio
I have been behind the chair for 35 years and a salon owner for 20. I grew up in southern California where the 80s music scene was my gateway drug to all things hair. I worked for 8 years in Orange County before relocating to San Diego where I continued honing my skills, followed by opening my first salon in 2002. I relocated to Colorado in 2006 and 3 years later Voodoo Hair Lounge was born. I have taken on many roles as stylist/owner over the years but my shining moments are always when I’m holding my shears. I LOVE to cut hair!!!! The biggest rewards from opening Voodoo are the connections I’ve made along the way. The clients, the staff, and the community have been life changing. Many of my best friendships have been made behind the chair. My hair journey has been lifelong and I honestly can’t imagine a future without it!
