I thrive on beauty and style; inspired by art, travel, diverse cultures, and the colors and patterns found in nature. Education and personal growth are an important part of my life and I have a long list of things I still want to learn! I care deeply for the well-being of others and enjoy developing genuine relationships with my clients.
Bio
A hairstylist since 2001, I apprenticed with Boyd Tizenor in Santa Cruz, California, formerly of Boyd for Hair and Lather Beauty Lounge. He taught me how to break the rules before I really knew what they were. The majority of my professional experience has been with Aveda, and I identify strongly with their dedication to organics, sustainability, bohemian aesthetic and nature-inspired color palates. I love dimensional hair color, hair that really moves, fun, edgy cuts, and hair that is ultimately workable for my clients.
I grew up in Florida and moved to Colorado in 2009 for a master’s degree in Religious Studies from the University of Colorado. My other passions include live music, Colorado hot springs, picnics, and travel. I adore craft beer, wine and spirits, and spent a number of years managing in the Boulder restaurant scene.
