Every year Voodoo Hair Lounge gathers the masses of Boulder’s finest and host the most eccentric shindig (a wig-required costume party) for the most of worthy of causes. This year, Voodoo’s 4th annual “Wig Out” party was a raging success, and thanks to the fine sponsors and performers who brought their A-game to the table we were able to raise over $2,000 for Midwife International. Starwater Bar brewed elixirs for every ailment and affliction while the Moth Poetic Circus brought their top-notch cabinet of performing curiosities. Wig Out IV: The Grande Voodoo Revival was a mind-expanding event with the most absurd and unique entertainment around. Davi-D Arts, live electronica by NumiNative ft Xerephine, Dj Jacob, and Selecta Byron brought amazing beats and sounds that delighted even the weariest of souls. Live painting by Leo Jean-Luc Soul, Drake-Hutchison, Chapin Mathews, Kate Flaherty, live projections by Taylor Adams, and sculptures by Sam Morrell decorated the evening under a great tent experienced a night not soon to be forgotten.
